Giovanna Carriero-Contreras is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Cesco Linguistic Services. She has over 25 years of experience in the language services industry, including interpreting, translation, and training. She has held positions in the U.K., U.S., and Switzerland. A graduate of the School of Translation and Interpretation in Geneva, her working languages are Italian, French, Spanish, and English. She co-authored The Community Interpreter: An International Textbook and Workbook and The Medical Interpreter: A Foundation Textbook for Medical Interpreting. She is a member of ASTM International and the chair of the US Delegation at International Organization for Standardization’s T37/SC5 Committee.
